CELEBRATING OVER 40 YEARS!

The Dogwood Arts House & Garden Show will be held February 12-14, 2021 at the Knoxville Convention Center in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee.  The show is the largest annual fundraiser for Dogwood Arts and is presented by ORNL Federal Credit Union.

Booth Specifications

Booth Space:
Each 10’ x 10’ booth includes an 8-foot tall backdrop drapery, 3-foot draped side rails, 6-foot skirted table, two chairs, inclusion in exhibitor list in Show program and online, 10 complimentary tickets, 4 exhibitor badges and parking passes.

Register Early!
Booths are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applications with required payment are dated as they are received and booth assignments are awarded according date. Applications submitted after December 31, 2019 require payment in full.

Cost per 10’ x 10’ Booth: $1,295
Corner booths are an additional $150 each
Comprehensive Reach:
The multi-media marketing plan makes the Dogwood Arts House & Garden Show known to the desired demographic in our community, as well as throughout the viewing, listening and readership regions of the southeast.

Decorations:
All materials in your booth must be flame retardant. Electrical wiring and equipment must conform to National
Electrical Code Safety Rules. If unusual equipment or machinery is to be installed, or if appliances that might
come under fire codes are to be used, the exhibitor must request information concerning venue’s regulations
from Show Management.

Exhibit Appearance:
For standard 10’ x 10’ booths, Dogwood Arts provides 8’ back drape and 3’ side drapes. Your display must be no more than 8’ high across the back, signage cannot go above the drape. If any part of you exhibit extends forward from the back drape (towards the front of the booth), it can only extend half the distance from the back drape at the maximum 8’ height. Then, your exhibit must drop down to 3 feet, the level of the side drape. The exterior of your display or structure facing an adjacent booth or aisle must be finished.

*Please DO NOT begin the breakdown of your booth prior to show closing – this is strictly defined in your exhibitor agreement

Certificate of Insurance:

  • Your Certificate of Insurance is DUE. If you have not submitted it yet, please do so ASAP to exhibitors@dogwoodarts.com. COI is required for all exhibitors to participate in the show.

 

Parking – General Info

  • Please NEVER park at Church Street Methodist Church at any time. YOU WILL BE TOWED and the Show cannot be responsible for the cost associated with that.
  • The small Poplar parking lot across from the KCC has been secured by the Show and is available for short term move-in needs. However, it is not to be used for extended or overnight parking and DOES NOT have the capacity for large trucks or trailers of any kind. There are several city lots that can accommodate trucks and trailers – in particular, the Jackson Avenue Lot (free on weekends) and the Old City Public Parking lot (always free) are lots with no overhead restrictions and are walkable from the Convention Center.
  • City of Knoxville Parking garages are free after 6:00 pm weekdays and on weekends. Visit www.cityofknoxville.org/parking or www.parkopedia.com for locations.
  • Due to lack of use by exhibitors, we are no longer using the Blackstock lot.

 

Show Load-In:

  • Know your load-in schedule before you arrive as you will NOT BE ALLOWED access to the dock if you arrive at a time when you are not on the list. There are no exceptions to this and we cannot make last-minute changes for security and capacity reasons. If you do not know your scheduled move-in date and time slot, please email sjenkins@dogwoodarts.com immediately!

 

Show Load-In (continued):

  • Vehicles waiting in line for entrance to the dock should not block Cumberland Avenue at any time.
  • Please bring your patience along with you for move-in! We have a lot of people and a lot of materials to get into one space in a short time and we all have to work together to complete this task as efficiently as possible.
  • General move-in schedule:

 

  • Tuesday, February 11, 2020
          • Gardeners and large exhibitors with special permissions ONLY
  • Wednesday, February 12, 2020 – last day for moving vehicles on the show floor
          • Only pre-approved vehicles are allowed on the show floor – due to the number of exhibitors at our show, you can only drive on if you absolutely cannot cart your materials in from the dock due to the physical requirements of the materials. We will have helpers to help with load-in and load-out on carts.
          • All other vehicles scheduled for this day may load in via the KCC Loading Dock Entry on Cumberland Avenue. There is a morning and an afternoon shift – please be sure you arrive during your scheduled time-frame
          • Show floor must be cleared of all activity by 8PM to allow for floor cleaning and pipe & drape to be set
  • Thursday, February 13, 2020 – no moving vehicles on the show floor
        • Exhibitor Load-in: Limited, temporary exhibitor parking is available at the Poplar Avenue lot, across Cumberland Avenue from the KCC Loading Dock and in the temporary pull in spaces on both sides of the building (Clinch Ave and Cumberland Ave). These spaces are not guaranteed and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be courteous of exhibitors moving in after you and move your vehicles as quickly as possible.

 

  • Electric, WIFI, & Water: 
    • Your electrical needs should already have been submitted directly to the KCC and will be installed prior to your arrival. A service desk will be open during move-in should you need to add something on site. All utilities must be paid in advance or in person at the show directly to the Knoxville Convention Center.

        • Sunday: Check-In Opens at 9:00 AM; show opens at 10 AM 
        • NEW THIS YEAR: Exhibitor Check-In will be located adjacent to the ticket booth on the mezzanine level next to the escalators that take you to the show floor. All exhibitors must check in at this booth for their first shift at the show only. If exhibitors work additional shifts they do not need to check-in when they return.
        • Please return badges that are no longer needed to the exhibitor check-in area.

Move-Out:

Procedures for Breakdown & Loading Dock Access

By Sunday night, we know everyone will be tired and ready to get home. We will too! Please be patient and courteous so we can end the event on a high note.

        • Per our agreement, all exhibitors must remain set-up until the end of the show at 5:00pm on Sunday, February 16, 2020.
        • All regular exhibitors MUST remove all materials from the show floor on Sunday night.
        • Once the show is closed, you should begin breaking down your booth setup, preparing all elements for load-out
        • Convention Center resources will begin removing pipe & drape during this time
        • When you have completely prepped for load-out, you must go to the show information desk and ask to be checked out for dock access.
        • A representative from the show committee will follow you back to your booth space to verify that you are ready to load and will give you a dock pass that will allow you to gain dock access.
        • Dock Access Passes will be given out in limited groups to minimize the # of vehicles waiting in line and causing traffic issues. As exhibitors leave the dock we will release more passes. PLEASE BE PATIENT during this wait time – we will move as quickly as possible.
        • As always, we will have workers on-site to help cart materials and load vehicles in an attempt to expedite the entire process
        • No vehicles will be allowed to drive on the show floor until 7PM after all pipe & drape has been removed and a reasonable number of exhibitors have exited leaving room for vehicles.

*The show floor MUST be cleared on Sunday to allow large Gardens to be disassembled and removed on Monday. These elements take days to build so clearing them out in one day by 6PM is a major undertaking. We need your cooperation to make sure this happens so please do not ask to wait until Monday to remove your materials. The show is not responsible for any materials left on the show floor overnight on Sunday night.
