About the Piece:
Mjolnir is the name of Thor's hammer and this sculpture is an abstract version of the traditional form. It is assembled with found objects along with aluminum castings of marine rope. The final composition blends recycled objects with Nordic and Irish imagery while paying homage to my personal heritage.
