Keep Knoxville Blooming
Dogwood Arts is on a mission to Keep Knoxville Blooming and make it easy for you to make a difference–one tree at a time. Beautify your own landscape, honor someone special, or donate a tree to the Dogwood Trails and Keep Knoxville Blooming for years to come! Dogwood Arts purchases the highest quality bare-root trees from Middle Tennessee Growers. Our trees are disease-resistant, spring-blooming, and available in pink and white. Proper planting and care is essential for successful growing. We cannot offer refunds or replacement trees. All sales are final.
Planting trees is a simple and effective way to clean our air, reduce stress, and conserve the environment. Over 17,000 dogwood trees have been added to our community in just 16 years through the Bazillion Blooms program. Knoxville’s iconic Dogwood Trails were created in 1955 to help beautify our neighborhoods. As the landscape ages, it is increasingly important to revitalize tree plantings along these trails and throughout our region to ensure their beauty continues into the future.

A BAZILLION BLOOMS
HOW IT WORKS:
OPTION 1:
PICK-UP & PLANT YOURSELF
(1-4 trees) $25/each (5+ trees) $20/each
Purchase bare-root trees (2.5-4ft tall) and plant them yourself! Plan ahead for spring blooms: Fall/winter is the best time to plant trees: the combination of warm soil, fall rains, and cool temperatures stimulate root growth to help your tree get established for next spring.
OPTION 2:
BUY IN MEMORY OR CELEBRATION
$35/each (includes card)
No matter what time of the year, you can celebrate a special event, honor an individual, or memorialize a loved one by donating a tree to the Historic Dogwood Trails. Your gift will Keep Knoxville Blooming and include a commemorative card (with your personal message) that will be mailed to the recipient of your choosing.
VISIT OUR PARTICIPATING
GARDEN CENTERS
Larger blooming trees, flowering shrubs, bulbs, and perennials are available at these participating Garden Centers: Ellenburg Landscaping & Nursery, Mayo Garden Centers, and Stanley’s Greenhouse.
NOTE: You cannot purchase the bare-root $25 trees from these Garden Centers.
Refunds or replacement trees are not available. Dogwood Arts purchases the highest quality bare-root trees from Middle Tennessee growers. Proper planting and care is critical to successful growing.
