About the event

Hikes & Blooms: Collier Preserve Native Plant Walk

Experience: A 12-acre park located in Powell with a 0.5 mile ADA walking trail made of eco-friendly, rubberized, and permeable material. The park includes a native plants garden, a birding platform, a kayak rest stop on Beaver Creek, and a natural setting for observing wildlife. This is native plant walk led by Knox County Master Gardener Sara Bryant. She will identify and discuss the benefits of native plants currently growing at the Preserve. It's a great opportunity to see natives that would work in your home environment!
