About the event
Hikes & Blooms: Ijams Nature Center
Experience: Starting from the Visitor Center, we will explore the Discovery and Serendipity Trails at Ijams Nature Center. This hike has a few steep hills but the path is wide and well-maintained. You may want hiking poles if you normally use them. We will see the Lotus Pond where the family spent hours swimming and then explore the Serendipity Loop where Alice Ijams planted native Wild Flowers. The hike is 1.25 miles and should take around an hour and a half, but can be extended for those who wish an added adventure. Google Maps provides all maps for further exploration.
