About the event

Hikes & Blooms: UT Arboretum (Guided Bird Walk)


Experience: Guided bird walks are offered on the third Wednesday of every month.  These hikes are 1.5-2 miles and are led by a Local Ornithologist from the American Museum of Science and Energy. No registration is needed.  No pets, please.  To confirm the hike is happening check UT Arboretum Facebook or for information call: 865-483-7277. Please wear comfortable footwear and remember your water!


The UT Arboretum serves as an outdoor classroom to university students in a variety of fields. It is also a place that provides a natural laboratory for research in plant uses, insect and disease control, and the management of natural resources. The facility is recognized as an official Wildlife Observation Area and part of the National Watchable Wildlife Program by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
