As we close out our 70th anniversary year, we’ve been reflecting on what has made Dogwood Arts thrive for seven decades. The answer is beautifully simple: our community.
For generations, supporters like you have believed in the power of art and nature to shape a community. Because of that belief, Knoxville and East Tennessee have grown into a place where creativity is celebrated, neighborhoods bloom brighter, and young people discover confidence through artistic expression. The dogwoods lining our streets, the festivals that fill downtown with music and color, and the public art that inspires us every day—all of it exists because you have invested in this mission.
This year was no exception. In 2025, together we:
Welcomed 90,000 event attendees
Supported 2,050 volunteer hours
Commissioned 27 new murals
Planted 1,500 dogwood trees
Distributed 7,500 art kits to local students
These numbers tell a story of impact, but the real story is the one we see in the joy on a child’s face during a hands-on art activity, in neighborhoods transformed by public art, and in visitors discovering Knoxville’s beauty for the first time.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come—but we’re even more excited about what lies ahead. To continue this momentum, we need your help.
As you consider your year-end giving, we ask you to invest in the next seventy years of creativity, connection, and community. Your tax-deductible donation—no matter the amount—directly ensures that Dogwood Arts can keep inspiring, empowering, and enriching East Tennessee.
Thank you for believing in our mission—and for helping us carry this legacy into the next seventy years and beyond.
