From Seven Stories Tall to Two Feet Away
For nearly a decade, Glover’s work has become part of Knoxville’s visual identity.
His murals live high above streets, wrapped around buildings, and stretched across public spaces. With Resonance, audiences can encounter his work in a completely different way — up close, personal, and immersive.
Instead of craning your neck toward a towering façade, you’ll stand inches away from layered acrylic and spray paint, seeing the texture, movement, and detail that define his style.
The exhibition features:
New work created over the past year
Revisited concepts and refined ideas
Personal “artifacts” from his mural practice — including paint-covered clothing and materials that have become part of his artistic 'persona'
A Decade of Public Art
Painting professionally since 2016, Glover took the leap into full-time artistry after years working in the arts industry. Since then, he has built a career through large-scale public murals across Tennessee, Florida, Costa Rica, and Canada.
In Knoxville alone, his work is woven into the cityscape. You’ve likely encountered his murals at:
Jerry’s Artarama
Radius Rooftop Lounge
Boyd’s Jig & Reel
Central Street (entering the Old City)
Pond Gap Elementary’s outdoor basketball court
Green Magnet Academy
Harper Auto Square
Townsend Visitors Center
The asphalt tank near South Banks Apartments in South Knoxville
Just to name a few...
His reach expanded statewide through the “Everywhere You Look, UT” campaign, bringing murals to 70 counties across Tennessee.
Working primarily in acrylics and spray paint, Glover builds dynamic layers filled with themes of nature, youthfulness, humanity, and civic pride. His work reflects a belief that art strengthens community — something he has consistently demonstrated through collaboration.
A Longstanding Relationship with Dogwood Arts
Glover’s connection with Dogwood Arts runs deep. He has:
Painted a mural in Strong Alley
Live painted during Rhythm N’ Blooms Music Festival
Participated in Art Slam & Chalk Walk
Created a custom guitar for the Epiphone Guitar Youth Art Fundraiser
Collaborated with Megan Lingerfelt and Robin Easter Design on the interior and exterior murals at Maker Exchange
Completed a mural at KnoxWalls at Emory Place
Now, for the first time, Dogwood Arts welcomes him into the gallery for a solo presentation — offering longtime fans and new audiences the opportunity to see his work in a more intimate setting.
Expanding the Horizon
While deeply rooted in Knoxville, Glover has recently focused on expanding his public art footprint, traveling to new cities and states to broaden his experience and impact. Yet at the heart of his practice remains a commitment to community — the idea that art resonates most powerfully when it reflects and uplifts the people around it.
Resonance is both a milestone and a moment of reflection — a look at where Glover has been and where he’s headed next.
Join us on March 6th for the Opening Reception and experience this exciting new chapter in one of Knoxville’s most recognizable artistic voices.
